We hold regular volunteer conservation events to remove wilding pines in various areas around the Whakatipu.
These events are 2-3 hours in duration and are a great way to enjoy like-minded company, spectacular views and fresh mountain air while helping to pull a few wilding pines. It’s a great way to connect with your community and enhance your wellbeing and fitness all at the same time. We’re happy to show you the ropes.
We provide the hand tools and equipment required for the volunteer events, including instruction and safety briefing.
“If you, your group or business are interested in doing volunteer work to remove wilding pines, or would like to be added to our mailing list, please get in touch. Our Volunteer Coordinator will get back to you as soon as possible.
