WCG selected as a finalist for the NZ Biosecurity Awards 2022

We are absolutely thrilled to share the news that WCG have been selected as a finalist for the NZ Biosecurity Awards 2022. It’s heartening to have WCG’s work recognised at this National level.
This finalist selection acknowledges not only the work of the current team, agencies and dedicated volunteers but also the number of passionate people that have historically been involved in WCG.
Many locals have put in years of hard but very productive wilding work protecting the landscapes and biodiversity of the Whakatipu area. WCG are grateful to our community for their support.
Winners will be announced at the 2022 Biosecurity Awards dinner event on Monday 31 October at the Auckland War Memorial Museum.
