Become a WCG Member – Help Protect the Whakatipu.

We’re growing our membership – and we’d love you to be part of it!

The Whakatipu has some of Aotearoa’s most spectacular landscapes and unique biodiversity. Protecting these places from the ongoing threat of wilding pines takes long-term commitment, strong partnerships and a community that cares.

Now is your opportunity to formally join the Whakatipu Wilding Control Group (WCG) and show your support for this important conservation work.

• There is no joining fee and no obligation to volunteer or contribute financially.
• Your membership will help to strengthen WCG’s ability to advocate for wilding control and secure funding.
• You’ll receive newsletters and invitations to events which includes updates on WCG operations and work.

The membership form is quick and easy to complete – join below. We’d love to have your support to join us on this conservation journey to reduce the wilding pine burden we leave for the next generation.
