Back in 2009 I was asked if I would help out a group, that was heading up to Bobs Peak to remove wilding pines, by developing a Health & Safety Plan. It was an early volunteer event for what was to become one of the key players in the protection of our natural landscapes and biodiversity – Whakatipu Wilding Control Group.
